Collaborating with the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ), the Ministry of State Secretariat (MoSS) hosted a comprehensive discussion forum on Thursday (14/3) at the Borobudur Hotel in Jakarta. Inviting representatives from ministry agencies and member institutions responsible for managing and coordinating Indonesia’s grant programs to developing nations, this Focus Group Discussion (FGD) aimed to gather input and foster commitment towards the development of a digital information system platform that will accommodate the entire management of South-South Cooperation (SSC) and foreign grants by the Indonesian government.

In her opening remarks, Noviyanti, the Head of the Bureau of International Technical Cooperation at MoSS, voiced her resolute hope for the collaborative development and shared utilization of this platform among the members of Indonesia’s National Coordinating Team of South-South Cooperation. Echoing her sentiments, Zulasmi, Principal Advisor at the GIZ Indonesia Office, and Sasa Sofyan Munawar, Director of Competency Development at the National Research and Innovation Agency, underscored the critical importance of seamlessly integrating existing systems from various agencies into this digital platform. This integration is crucial for fostering a cohesive and unified approach to SSC implementation and the administration of Indonesian grants.

The discussion was skillfully moderated by Winastwan Gora, Director of PT Edukasi Satu Nol Satu (Edukasi101), who serves as the consultant for the development of this groundbreaking digital information system platform. Participants were organized into three distinct groups, each focusing on essential aspects of platform development: project management, strategic policies, and learning experiences. Their contributions were rich in diversity, ranging from innovative ideas to practical suggestions, all underscored by a resolute commitment to support the initiative’s advancement.
